Day 7

more tiling work today. and some repair work on the broken tiles in the kitchen. which made for quite a mess but it's all clean now. relatively. i just had my cold shower. my last cold shower in the shitty portable toilet! hopefully. tomorrow morning they're taking that cubicle of crappiness away and installing all the fixtures in the bathroom and toilet. which means that i get a proper toilet and bathroom to use again. and hopefully the new water heater works too. but i don't mind a cold shower again. just not in the portable toilet.

not much photos of upgrading today cos it's just tiling and also cos i spent most of the day chilling in my room before i thought to myself i better get some photos. so well whatever.




my brother and some chinese guy doing the tiling repair work. the chinese guy handled the floor and my brother handled the tiles on the wall. he didn't finish his job before beating it cos it was late already and he still had another unit to do work in. it'll get finished tomorrow.




so here's the bathroom with the floor tiled up. starting to look pretty good innit. tomorrow you shall be privy to it in it's fixtured glory together with something mind-boggling.

new kitchen drainage cover. looks so much better than a gaping hole of cement.

unfortunately, my family's power of invisibility does not extend to our footwear.

yeah please let everything go well tomorrow so that we can have a clean kitchen again. i'm a little tired of going downstairs to use the toilet.
